मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के सख्त दिशा-निर्देशों पर उत्तराखण्ड में बच्चों की स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा को लेकर औषधि विभाग ने बड़ा अभियान छेड़ा हुआ है। इस क्रम में प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में छापेमारी का सिलसिला तेज कर दिया गया है। प्रदेशभर में कफ सिरप की गुणवत्ता और उसकी वैधानिकता की जांच के लिए मेडिकल स्टोर्स, होलसेल डिपो, फार्मा इंडस्ट्री और बच्चों के अस्पतालों पर औचक निरीक्षण लगातार जारी हैं। देहरादून, ऋषिकेश, हल्द्वानी, अल्मोड़ा और बागेश्वर सहित अन्य जिलों में औषधि निरीक्षकों की टीमों ने औचक निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया। अब तक 350 से अधिक सैंपल जांच के लिए लिए जा चुके हैं, जबकि एक दर्जन से अधिक मेडिकल स्टोर्स के लाइसेंस निरस्त किए जा चुके हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा है कि उत्तराखण्ड सरकार बच्चों की सुरक्षा के प्रति पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि प्रत्येक मेडिकल स्टोर, अस्पताल और फार्मा यूनिट की जांच सुनिश्चित की जाए। हमारा लक्ष्य है कि उत्तराखण्ड में ऐसा कोई सिरप न बिके, जो बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य के लिए खतरा बने। यह सरकार की जीरो टॉलरेंस नीति का हिस्सा है।
इस पूरे अभियान की मॉनिटरिंग स्वयं स्वास्थ्य सचिव एवं खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन (एफडीए) आयुक्त डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार कर रहे हैं। अभियान का नेतृत्व अपर आयुक्त (एफडीए) ताजबर सिंह जग्गी कर रहे हैं। औषधि विभाग ने देहरादून में औचक निरीक्षण किया। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में मेडिकल स्टोर्स और थोक विक्रेताओं की जांच की गई। निरीक्षण के दौरान बच्चों की सर्दी-खांसी की कुछ दवाएँ अलग से भंडारित पाई गईं, जिन्हें मौके पर सील कर दिया गया और बिक्री पर अगले आदेश तक रोक लगा दी गई। अधिकांश विक्रेताओं ने प्रतिबंधित सिरप की बिक्री पहले ही बंद कर दी थी, जबकि जहां स्टॉक मिला, उसे पेटियों में डालकर सील किया गया। कार्रवाई के दौरान एक मेडिकल स्टोर को बंद किया गया और 11 औषधियों के नमूने जांच के लिए एकत्रित किए गए।
ऋषिकेश क्षेत्र में निरीक्षण के दौरान पाया गया कि कुछ स्टोर्स में बच्चों की सर्दी-खांसी की दवाइयाँ (सिरप) अलग से भंडारित थीं। टीम ने मौके पर ही इन दवाओं को सील कर दिया और अगले आदेश तक इनकी बिक्री प्रतिबंधित कर दी। निरीक्षण के दौरान कुल 06 औषधियों के नमूने गुणवत्ता जांच हेतु संकलित किए गए।
हल्द्वानी मुखानी क्षेत्र में औषधि विभाग की टीम ने सात मेडिकल स्टोर्स का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान दो कफ सिरप के नमूने जांच के लिए लिए गए। अल्मोड़ा जिले में औषधि विभाग की टीम ने एक मेडिकल स्टोर से कफ सिरप का एक नमूना परीक्षण के लिए लिया। वहीं, बागेश्वर जिले के गरुड़ क्षेत्र में दो मेडिकल स्टोर्स पर जांच की गई, जहाँ से दो बाल चिकित्सा सिरप के नमूने गुणवत्ता परीक्षण हेतु संकलित किए गए।
स्वास्थ्य सचिव एवं आयुक्त (एफडीए ) डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार ने कहा कि बच्चों की सेहत से खिलवाड़ किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि यह अभियान मेडिकल स्टोर्स और होलसेल दवा डिपो तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि फार्मा कंपनियों और बाल चिकित्सालयों तक भी विस्तारित किया गया है।
