उत्तराखण्ड की प्रथम महिला स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी और स्वाधीनता आंदोलन के दौरान जेल जाने वाली पहली महिला क्रांतिकारी बिशनी देवी शाह जी की जयंती पर आज समूचा प्रदेश उन्हें श्रद्धा और सम्मान के साथ याद कर रहा है। बिशनी देवी शाह न केवल उत्तराखण्ड की गौरवशाली इतिहास की प्रतीक हैं, बल्कि उन्होंने आज़ादी के आंदोलन में महिलाओं की सक्रिय भूमिका का भी मार्ग प्रशस्त किया।
उनके साहस, त्याग और देशभक्ति को नमन करते हुए प्रदेशवासियों ने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों, शिक्षण संस्थानों और सरकारी कार्यालयों में उनके योगदान को स्मरण करते हुए कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी समेत कई नेताओं और गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने भी बिशनी देवी शाह को नमन किया और उनके विचारों से प्रेरणा लेने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में महिलाओं की भूमिका को याद करना और अगली पीढ़ी को उससे जोड़ना आज की आवश्यकता है।
बिशनी देवी शाह का जीवन हमें सिखाता है कि जब उद्देश्य देश सेवा हो, तो हर बाधा छोटी लगती है। उनके संघर्ष और बलिदान को नमन करते हुए आज भी हजारों लोग प्रेरणा लेते हैं।
