मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरूवार को शहीद राईफल मैन नरेश कुमार के गुजराड़ा मानसिंह सहस्त्रधारा रोड़ स्थित आवास से शहीद सम्मान यात्रा 2 का शुभारम्भ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने इससे पहले शहीद राईफलमैन नरेश कुमार के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण के साथ ही शहीद स्थल पर पुष्प चक्र अर्पित कर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की । इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद नरेश कुमार के परिजनों से भेंट कर उनके आंगन की मिट्टी का भी संग्रहण किया। उन्होंने शहीद के परिजनों को शहीद सम्मान समारोह में शामिल होने का भी आमंत्रण दिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा देहरादून के गुनियाल गाँव मे शौर्य स्थल (सैन्य धाम) का निर्माण कराया गया है जिसमें प्रदेश के सभी शहीद सैनिकों के घर-आँगन की पवित्र मिट्टी स्थापित की जा रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह शहीद सम्मान यात्रा उन अमर बलिदानियों को समर्पित है, जिनकी शौर्यगाथा और बलिदान सदैव हमें प्रेरणा देते रहेंगे। हमारे शहीदों ने अपना आज हमारे कल के लिए न्यौछावर किया है। उनके त्याग और पराक्रम के कारण ही हम सब सुरक्षित और स्वतंत्र हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने श्रद्धा और कृतज्ञता के साथ शहीदों को नमन करते हुए कहा कि उनके बलिदान को कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे लिए यह गर्व का अवसर है, जब हम उन परिवारों के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त कर रहे हैं जिन्होंने राष्ट्र के लिए अपना सबसे बड़ा बलिदान दिया। शहीदों का बलिदान हमें यह सिखाता है कि जीवन का वास्तविक मूल्य त्याग, सेवा और समर्पण में है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश में शहीदों के परिजनों के कल्याण के लिए अनेक कल्याणकारी योजनायें संचालित की जा रही हैं। प्रदेश में वर्ष 2018 से अब तक 28 शहीद आश्रितों को उनकी योग्यता अनुसार नियुक्ति दी जा चुकी है और 13 की नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया गतिमान है। शहीदों के परिजनों को एकमुश्त अनुग्रह अनुदान जो पहले 10 लाख रुपये थी, जिसे बढ़ाकर 50 लाख रुपये कर दिया है। इसी प्रकार उत्तराखण्ड़ के परमवीर चक्र अलंकृत सैनिकोें एवं उनकी विधवाओं को दी जाने वाली राशि 50 लाख रूपये से बढाकर अब 1.50 करोड़ रूपये कर दी गयी है। उत्तराखण्ड़ देश का पहला राज्य है जहां पूर्व सैनिकों को ब्लॉक प्रतिनिधि नियुक्त मानदेय प्रदान किया है वर्तमान में यह मानदेय 8,000 रुपये प्रतिमाह है, जिसे बढ़ाकर 10,000 रुपये प्रतिमाह किया गया है।
इस अवसर पर सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि देहरादून में निर्मित हो रहे सैन्यधाम निर्माण से पूर्व प्रदेश के 1734 अमर बलिदानियों के आंगन की पवित्र मिट्टी सैन्यधाम लाई जा चुकी है। प्रदेश में शहीदों के सम्मान की परंपरा वर्ष 2021 से प्रारम्भ हुई। उस वर्ष जिला एवं राज्य स्तर पर शहीद सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किए गए और शहीद परिजनों को ताम्रपत्र भेंट किए गए। वर्ष 2021 में कतिपय कारणों से 39 शहीद सैनिकों के घर-आँगन की मिट्टी संग्रहित नहीं हो सकी थी। इसके पश्चात 2021 से 2025 के बीच प्रदेश के 32 और वीर सैनिक मातृभूमि पर बलिदान हुए। इन सभी 71 वीरों के सम्मान में हमारी सरकार द्वारा दिनांक 25 सितम्बर, 2025 से 04 अक्टूबर, 2025 तक शहीद सम्मान यात्रा आयोजित की जा रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह यात्रा 4 अक्टूबर तक चलेगी और 05 अक्टूबर को शहीद यात्रा रथ को गरिमामय कार्यक्रम के साथ शहीदों के परिजनों के साथ लैंसडॉउन रवाना किया जाएगा। वहां आयोजित सैनिक सम्मान समारोह में शहीद परिवारों को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि यात्रा के दौरान सैनिक कल्याण विभाग के अधिकारी बलिदानियों के घर जाकर शहीदों के आंगन की मिट्टी कलश में एकत्र करेंगे। यह पवित्र मिट्टी सैन्यधाम के लोकार्पण से पूर्व उसमें सम्मिलित की जाएगी। सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री श्री जोशी ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में राज्य सरकार शहीदों और उनके आश्रितों के कल्याण के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है।
इस अवसर मेजर जनरल (सेनि) सम्मी सभरवाल, कैप्टन (सेनि) उमादत्त जोशी, कर्नल वैटरन आदित्य श्रीवास्तव, सैनिक कल्याण विभाग के निदेशक बिग्रेडियर (सेनि) अमृत लाल, कैप्टन (सेनि) आनन्द राणा सहित बड़ी संख्या में पूर्व सैनिक एंव जनप्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे।
