सीएम धामी ने कहा, “प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी ने एक बार फिर यह सिद्ध कर दिया है कि उनकी प्राथमिकता देश के आम नागरिक और मध्यमवर्गीय परिवार हैं। GST में कमी से दीपावली की खरीदारी अब और भी किफायती हो जाएगी, जिससे न केवल जनता को राहत मिलेगी, बल्कि बाजारों में रौनक भी लौटेगी।”
✅ किन वस्तुओं पर मिली राहत
मोदी सरकार द्वारा घरेलू उपयोग की कई वस्तुओं जैसे कि LED लाइट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण, सजावटी सामान, मिठाई पैकिंग, खिलौने, और कपड़ों पर GST में आंशिक कटौती की गई है। इससे त्योहारी सीजन में उपभोक्ताओं की जेब पर बोझ कम होगा।
📈 अर्थव्यवस्था को मिलेगा बल
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस फैसले से खपत (consumption) में तेजी आएगी, जिससे देश की आंतरिक अर्थव्यवस्था को गति मिलेगी। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि छोटे व्यापारियों और MSMEs को भी इसका लाभ मिलेगा, जो त्योहारों के दौरान अधिक बिक्री की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं।

राजधानी देहरादून से लेकर हल्द्वानी, ऋषिकेश, और पिथौरागढ़ तक व्यापारियों ने सरकार के फैसले की सराहना की है। कई दुकानदारों ने बताया कि GST में राहत मिलने से ग्राहकों की खरीदारी में इजाफा देखने को मिल रहा है।
स्थानीय व्यापारी राकेश अरोड़ा ने कहा, “हर साल GST की दरें त्योहारों के समय लोगों की जेब पर भारी पड़ती थीं। इस बार सरकार का कदम वाकई राहत देने वाला है।”
