शीतलहर की गंभीर स्थिति के पूर्वानुमान को देखते हुए जिलाधिकारी, ऊधमसिंह नगर द्वारा जनपद में एहतियातन महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिया गया है। जिलाधिकारी के आदेशानुसार जनपद के समस्त आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों एवं कक्षा 1 से 12 तक के सभी सरकारी, अशासकीय एवं निजी विद्यालयों में दिनांक 15 जनवरी से 17 जनवरी 2026 तक अवकाश घोषित किया गया है।
प्रशासन द्वारा यह निर्णय विद्यार्थियों के स्वास्थ्य एवं सुरक्षा को प्राथमिकता देते हुए लिया गया है, ताकि अत्यधिक ठंड और शीतलहर के प्रभाव से बच्चों को सुरक्षित रखा जा सके। जिलाधिकारी ने शिक्षा विभाग एवं संबंधित अधिकारियों को आदेशों का सख्ती से पालन सुनिश्चित कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
प्रशासन ने अभिभावकों से भी अपील की है कि वे बच्चों को ठंड से बचाव के आवश्यक उपाय अपनाएं तथा मौसम सामान्य होने तक सावधानी बरतें। मौसम विभाग द्वारा जारी पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार आने वाले दिनों में तापमान में और गिरावट तथा शीतलहर की तीव्रता बढ़ने की संभावना जताई गई है।
जिले में स्थिति पर प्रशासन लगातार नजर बनाए हुए है और आवश्यकता पड़ने पर आगे भी आवश्यक निर्णय लिए जाएंगे।
