मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज जनपद ऊधमसिंह नगर के गदरपुर क्षेत्र के अन्तर्गत ग्राम पंचायत रोशनपुर डलबाबा में बुक्सा जनजाति समाज के राजा जगतदेव की प्रतिमा का वर्चुअल अनावरण किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने ग्राम सभा रोशनपुर स्थित डलबाबा मंदिर परिसर में चहारदीवारी, टीनशेड, फर्श व शौचालय का निर्माण, ग्राम बलरामनगर से खेमपुर तक 3 किमी सड़क का पुनर्निर्माण कार्य और ग्राम सीतापुर से एएनके इंटर कॉलेज तक 4 किमी सड़क के पुनर्निर्माण कार्य की घोषणा की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राजा जगत देव जी का जीवन त्याग, वीरता, धर्मनिष्ठा और संस्कृति संरक्षण का अमूल्य उदाहरण है। यह अवसर केवल एक प्रतिमा के अनावरण का नहीं, बल्कि बुक्सा जनजाति की गौरवशाली परंपरा, संस्कृति और बलिदान की स्मृति को नमन करने का दिवस है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजा जगत देव जी ने कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी धर्म और संस्कृति की रक्षा के लिए अपना सर्वस्व समर्पित किया। यह केवल वीरता की नहीं, बल्कि स्वाभिमान और आस्था की अदम्य शक्ति की प्रतीक गाथा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि ऊधमसिंहनगर, नैनीताल, कोटद्वार सहित अनेक क्षेत्रों में बसे बुक्सा समाज के लोग अपनी संस्कृति, परंपरा और आत्मसम्मान को जीवंत रखे हुए हैं। राज्य सरकार जनजातीय समुदायों के सांस्कृतिक संरक्षण, इतिहास के दस्तावेजीकरण, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, आवास और रोजगार के लिए पूर्ण प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजा जगत देव जी की गौरवगाथा को शोध कार्य भी होने चाहिए, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ उनसे प्रेरणा ले सकें।
