सरदार पटेल की 150वीं जयंती पर स्टेच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी में होने वाली परेड में उत्तराखंड की झांकी को शामिल करने का गौरव मिला है।
गुजरात में सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की 150वीं जयंती पर स्टेच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी में 31 अक्तूबर को होने वाली परेड में उत्तराखंड की झांकी में आध्यात्मिक, प्राकृतिक व संस्कृति की झलक दिखेगी। इस बार राज्य ने अष्ट तत्व व एकत्व की थीम पर झांकी तैयार की है।

राज्य की झांकी के नोडल अधिकारी व विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक केएस चौहान के निर्देशन में झांकी का निर्माण कराया जा रहा है। चौहान ने बताया कि झांकी व कलाकारों की सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति के संबंध में सभी तैयारियां पूरी कर ली गई हैं। एकता परेड में राज्य के लोक कलाकारों का 14 सदस्यीय दल उत्तराखंड के पारंपरिक लोक नृत्य की प्रस्तुति देगा।
